I sometimes wonder, if FaceBook is not also a true instrument of social connectedness.
Is what many refer to as our 'obsession' with social media contributing to our anonymity? Or is that 'obsession' a result of an already existing anonymity? Is, in other words, our drive to use social media largely an attempt to heal how disconnected we have already been feeling?

ReplyDeleteAnyways, one wonders what is the ideal shape of connectedness, if there is any at all? Can we as human beings ever feel completely connected no matter how our collective attempts in different forms, like Facebook, develops over time?
